How do online lessons work? How do you set up cameras for online piano lessons? How do you see properly in an online piano lesson? How does a student setup their cameras for online lessons? Hey everyone! 🌐 Welcome to my piano studio camera tour, where I'll be showing you the webcam setup I use to bring my music lessons and performances directly to you through the power of the internet! 🌐 After showing my setup, I will run through the 3 best options for a student setup. I have three Logitech webcams, strategically positioned to capture the piano from the best angles. With wide angle zoomable HD lenses, I can showcase every key and movement during my performances and lessons. Descriptions to follow, detailed setup & links below 🔹Camera # 1: The Main View, Logitech BrioThis camera is our standard lesson view to see a broad picture of myself and the keys. We spend a lot of time here, playing and dialoguing back and forth! 🔹Camera # 2: The Overhead View, Logitech C922This camera shows you the keys from above- where each hand and finger are placed. It is dedicated to chords & harmony, fingering, alignment and working on music without notes (learning by ear, improv, arranging, composition). 🔹Camera # 3: The Side View, Logitech C920Lastly, the side view zooms in on arm alignment, hand structure and finger action, allowing us to fine tune movement and positioning. It’s a great way to dive deep into technique for connecting movement and sound! ♦️ My wishlist…. a pedalling camera. This will help fine-tune the sound blend we get with pedals!
