Godin Solidac - slightly odd, VERY Fantastic

The Godin Solidac is a sleeper guitar - that means it largely gets missed when people are looking for a great guitar that doesn't cost the earth. Why does it get missed? Probably because godin is not an aspirational brand like Gibson or Fender, and that means it has to rely on being a great guitar on its own merits, and not get a pass because of the name on the headstock. I bought mine because it came cheap - I play it because it's bloody brilliant. Why is it so good? Massive tonal variety, PLUS a piezo bridge that can route seperatley for an acoustic sound or be blended with the magnetic pickups' sound to add an incisive cut and shimmer to your sound. What do you reckon - can you live with a less alluring logo if the sound is awesome, the playability exquisite? Are you bold enough to walk a different path and play a slightly oddball guitar like this?
