Welcome back all, In this video I continue the rebuild of my Mk2 Escort by tackling the front wheel bearings and brakes. Lots of you recommended a brake kit from Gs classic fords on Facebook, so I got in contact with them and purchased a set! The brake kit came with everything; discs, pads, callipers, hardware & more. This made the installation run smoothly and the end result on the Escort, looks insane. I also managed to get the Mk2 Escort back on the ground and I wacked on some banded steels I recently purchased. I also managed to dust off the escort as the o/s of the car is very hard to get to and it was still covered in underseal dust! It's fair to say that rolling the escort out of the garage has spurred me on and encouraged me massively to get this out on the roads this summer.
