XP DEUS - Negative Ground Balance Trick (SETTING)

I often get questions about my XP Deus setting. I thought, it would be a good idea, to finally show its advantages with a (real world) example in the field. ▼▼▼ MORE INFO ▼▼▼ This short video contains 3 parts: the low ground balance trick - how it works how to set it my current XP Deus setup I discovered this trick during some of my tests a few years ago and used it since then without any problems (I posted it on a forum, before I had this Youtube channel). Usually when the soil is mineralised, or if the ground balance is set a little bit too low, the detector starts making noises (with the same tone frequency as a good signal). This trick splits this noise and "redirects" it to the 100Hz tone frequency. That way, you can detect with negative G.B., improve the depth and still hear a clear signal of the target. If the ground is mineralised, the 100Hz noise will be more present. This also works as a good indicator. With this setting, you will get every audio information, the Deus can deliver. I was usually hunting with a negative ground balance of "76", but I'm going to a very low "63" lately (even when Deus recommends "86"). I don't look in the G.B. menu anymore when I start detecting. I just switch the Deus on and hunt. Be aware that under certain circumstances, a target on edge could get mixed (100HZ) audio. It is better to check some weak, bad sounding targets (especially when you use the 12kHz frequency). If you want to improve the "clarity", use 18kHz (with better "resolution"). Try this set at your own risk & make your own tests. If you want to see a long hunt with this setup, take a look at this playlist: ▶ https://goo.gl/BiHgUi MY CURRENT SETTING - This is the set I use all the time everywhere (field, forest, sand - in any conditions). The only change I make is the frequency from 12 kHz to 18 kHz (and reactivity 3 - 4, very rarely).
