Victoria 2 Advanced Military Guide, Part 1: Unit Types (and unit stats)

By popular request (or at least more popular than the other options in that one poll I did), here's my take on a military guide for Victoria 2! I decided to split this into three parts, so in this first part I'll talk about all the different land units and what roles they may serve in your armies, as well as giving a brief rundown of the effects of the different unit stats. This guide is reflective of how I personally play the game in the types of challenges I do, mostly singleplayer speedruns, so I wouldn't consider it the one definitive military guide for Vic2 and some of it can definitely be a matter of personal preference.
