After flying across South Africa to Koo Pan, on day 2 we go explore the magnificent Hakskeenpan. Since Hakskeenpan is a desolate dry pan, we were able to safely explore it only tens of feet above the ground. Hakskeen pan spans more than 10 miles end-to-end, which is the reason for the Bloudhound team choosing this site to attempt the world land speed record. And later that day we have a STOL competition, seeing who can takeoff and land in the shortest distance, as well as spot land on the line.
