Soothing guided meditation to settle stomach

This mindfulness meditation is designed to help you settle your grumbly tummy. Thoughtfully crafted to ease your discomfort and anxiety. In this meditation to settle your stomach, you will soothe your upset stomach by calming your mind. This guided meditation will calm your nervous stomach through belly breathing, mindfulness of bodily sensations and affirmations for healing digestion. Regardless of why you have an upset stomach ... anxiety, irritable bowel syndrome, or indigestion ... relaxation can really help due to the gut-brain axis. Your brain and gut are closely connected, with the gut microbiome influencing your emotional wellbeing. And your emotional wellbeing affecting your gut. So a meditation practice, or breathing exercise can diffuse the tension from your body and mind. The gut-brain connection is real and the slow breathing used in this meditation can activate the vagus nerve. The small intestine produces sounds while you digest your food, and this is normal. Other times, your digestive system can produce some negative problems, with lots of gurgling sounds, gas pains, bloating and unpredictable bowel movements. But your gut is a great gauge on your entire health. What happens in your gut will show up elsewhere in your body. It also means that if you can ease your stress, it not only calms your stomach, but you'll feel better overall.
