Got it out on the rocks today with a buddy of mine so that I had another opinion throughout the day. The truck has loads of potential. The ground clearance was awesome and it seldomly got hung up. Lots of articulation- more than anything I’ve ran before. With running no brass and plastic wheels, that led to a lot of tip-overs. The front end was really light on steep stuff, so I added our rear upper link riser and that was a huge improvement. I’ll add some weights to the wheels next because I really think it’ll benefit from it. With so much articulation and extremely light wheels and tires, it tipped over a lot so getting some weight down low will be huge. More overdrive would be nice because my other lcg Enduro has a way tighter turning radius with its 25% OD. The motor and esc are crazy smooth off the bottom and the Reedy 25kg servo never stalled or cut out. Super impressed with the budget electronics. I have a hi-torque servo in my cart but I think I’m going to hold off for now. A few small changes and some weight down low to offset the raised c.o.g. from the portals and it will go from a good truck to a great truck I think.
