Trick for Your Hiker's First Aid Kit -- Carry Leukotape on Mailing Label Backing Paper

When we were heading out for our 2018 AT Section Hike, I found this fabulous trick on Andrew Skurka's website (see link below). It's a wonderful way to eliminate carrying band-aids or the entire roll of Leukotape -- or avoiding winding it on a pencil or around a trekking pole. IMPORTANT TIP: use gauze or toilet paper between the tape and your wound, blister, etc., to keep the tape from pulling off the blister, skin or scab. And although we didn't specifically discuss it, you can see a piece on the table I'd cut that's round -- you can tailor the shapes and sizes to whatever your needs are! Also, this is Leukotape P. There is a stretchier version called Leukotape K if you think you need that for your kinesio taping issues. We've done taping successfully with just the P, but your mileage may vary!
