【My Time at Portia】 Early Eufaula Desert Access via Jumping Over the River

How to get across the river to the desert before you've actually built the Portia Bridge. Turn on CC for instructions. Allows you to get items like Asteria and Dragon Heart flowers, Poplar Wood, Cactus Fruit, Palm Jujube, Animal Skeletons, Sulfate, etc. a bit earlier than you're supposed to be able to, though you can't do much else in the desert until you get there in the story. Description of the trick from the wiki: ・The player can access the Eufaula Desert before building the Portia Bridge by going up the Bassanio Heights Lift, then jumping with the help of a mount across the river at its thinnest point. This requires the player to sprint on their mount towards the river, jump as close to the edge of the water as they can, then jump (right-click) off their mount right before hitting the water. ・The player can jump across to either side of the river with this method. (Tested on a Cotton Llama.) ・This method also allows the player to simply ride the Dee-Dee Transport System all the way to the Bassanio Heights stop, then jump across the river to fish at the Eufaula Heights fishing spot. I recorded this after building the bridge, but this trick should still work if you haven't. I haven't tried this with a mount other than a Cotton Llama yet, but you can use any mount, I think. ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー Running Steam version 2.0.133995 (released 2019/03/08) at the time of recording.
