There was a bit of a traffic jam on the way over and once at the Wallaroo jetty the fishing started off with a bit of excitement with me in the water, risking my life, for a bucket. A big thanks to the fishermen and port workers who both looked after and calmed my daughter on the jetty and also picked me and the bucket up and took me to the ladders to get back up. Wallaroo Jetty on the Yorke Peninsula generally offers some good fishing opportunities. On the fishing front, the tides weren't great and we were fishing in the middle of the day. We persisted with some pretty picky Tommy Ruff (Australian Herring) managing a feed. Once home from fishing on the Wallaroo jetty, I show you how to fillet the tommy ruff.
