Today we will learn to make one of my favorite and popular dim sum items, how to make Cheung Fun! What is Cheung Fun? Cheung fun is also known as rice noodle rolls. Shrimp cheung fun 鲜虾肠粉 is a steamed dish. Cheung fan are usually served during dim sum as a small snack. These rice noodles rolls are made of a sheet of rice noodles rolled up with different fillings inside. They’re soft, smooth and a little bit chewy. Usually served with a sweet soy sauce. Today I will show you the basic cheung fun recipe. There are different varieties of steamed rice noodle rolls recipe. The version we will be making today is shrimp rice rolls !
