Bitter gourd fruit turning yellow - How to solve | Real Organic

Have you experienced having this problem with your bitter gourd fruit? If you have, comment down below your experience and solutions. I have a solution that works with me, but first, let's identify possible causes. First, it may have been unpollinated fruit that dried out like this one. Sadly, I have one here already wrapped but still turns yellow! I have here a bigger one which just turned into yellow! (heartbreaking). Upon investigating, I find holes in this vegetable-fruit that might be the cause. Fruit flies bite this fruit before it was wrapped with plastic. I have wrapped this one without inspecting the fruit was already bitten. It turns yellow as these worms inside are feasting on all the greens inside this fruit. It stinks so badly. As I inspect the other fruits, I discovered that most of the small ones are already bitten! If I wrap this now with plastic it will eventually turn as the other one. I have a single solution that works for me since I don't use conventional pesticides. That is to inspect each fruit after it pollinates, the chances to avoid is bigger. You can tell if it's pollinated once the flower withered. (this one still not). Here is a pollinated one. The next step is to wrap it with plastic but before that, you have to carefully look for some insect bites. If you can't find any, then wrap it, if you found at least one then skip it. Wrapping a bitten one will eventually turn into a walker lol. I have a very high success rate in harvesting since I did this. I already harvested several fruits here, and you can see there's still left to be harvested. I have here a bitten fruit, and what I do to them is to remove it. Doing this will allow the plant to not waste nutrients on the fruit instead of giving it to other fruits. I have harvested this good looking organic bitter gourd for breakfast.
