If you’re into PC’s or anything that has got to do with computers , I am sure you are aware of what happened with the graphics card market. In this video, I showcase me getting a Graphics Card in 2o21 and installing it. Graphic cards that are two year models are selling for three times the price they are, and NVIDIA’S latest graphic cards are just so hard to get costing thousands for the average consumer. This happened due to numerous reasons! Firstly, production companies halted due to Covid which means the speed of which the cards were being produced just didn’t match up with the demand of the consumers. Secondly, People known as scalpers started using bots to buy up stock faster than humans can, then selling their cards for a massive markup on sites like Ebay, StockX, and Craigslist. Finally, one word crypto. Whenever cryptocurrency prices boom, graphics cards become scarce, as we previously saw in 2013 and 2017. A GPU is capable of performing more calculations, leading to improved output for the crypto mining process. Whenever cryptos stock go wild, pretty much any graphics card with more than 4GB of memory can be profitable. But I have a graphic card now, I’m grateful and I am ready. I recently posted two videos that basically are showing my new set up and this was the last part I was waiting for my dream editing and gaming PC! Moral of the story: Buy what you can get for now, down the line you can resell it when the market gets better, be grateful with what you can get!
