Travelling Across Europe on the Eve of World War 2
Incredible photos taken by a group of English cycling enthusiasts as they cycled across Europe in 1938. Starting in Munich in Germany they worked their way across Austria and into northern Italy. I have no idea who these young men were. They're names have been lost. I don't know if they survived the war. But these are the photos that they took on their European adventure. Places they visited included Munich and Berchtesgaden in Germany; Seisenbergklamm, Heiligenblut, Dolsach and Leinz in Austria; Vipiteno, Bruneck and Misurina in Italy. Or at least those are the ones I can identify.
