Check those pics… Interested in this guitar? It’s for SALE! Call (515) 864-6136 These guitars were made to compete with the Gibson Les Pauls of the day... This is not a cheaply made in Japan Guitar. Very high quality all around...It is one of the Lawsuit Era Guitars for good reason.. They made them too good! Univox made this model in a limed Mahogany, Walnut and like this one in wine red. Very cool guitars! This cool guitar is mostly original…only the tailpiece bridge and studs was replaced. The one on it was toast.. The backplate also doesn't appear to be original. See pic 10. Knobs, tuners, truss rod cover, Cool Pickups and Pickguard.. All original ..This was a player as you can see. The frets are still very good but you can certainly see player wear all over this guitar. No cracks but lots of finish crazing...mostly on the back. Love the wear on the bridge pickup case. Looks really cool.… From there just some superficial dings and such. Some bangs on the top of the lower bout...Nothing too bad to note on this beautiful guitar. Our Tech set it up with awesome playing action with new 10 gauge strings that will not result in any sore fingers. It has excellent action. This guitar has a 25 inch scale neck, a 1 11/16 inch nut and weighs just 6 lbs 14 ozs ...No sore backs with this one! It ship in the shown original Hard Shell Case. Its definitely Japanese and fits the guitar like a glove. It still has all latches, hinges, original handle and even the accessory box. Really nice upgraded original case for this cool Univox Guitar. Be aware. Any smoke allergies and this guitar and case are not for you. We have 99% of the juke joint smells gone, but there may just a trace left. Be advised.. Thanks... Its vintage...
