The technique has a long history and was quite popular in the late 1800s among a wide range of people, particularly spiritualists, and has been around for many years. This technique is simpler than you may think, and you don't require any special abilities, talents, or skills of any kind. All you need is a pen and paper, as well as a desire to study.
