DIY Candle Holder Makeover with Krylon Short Cuts Spray Paint I've had these 2 candle holders for years but did not like the color. I finally used spray paint to change the color to fit my decor. Always use spray paint in a well-ventilated area. I prefer to spray outside. Use a box, paper or large fabric scrap to protect surfaces. I like using scrapbook paper as it allows me the ability to access the entire candle holder and rotate it for full coverage. Allow the spray paint to dry to the touch - usually 30 minutes. To avoid scrapes and nicks, I let the surface cure overnight. I chose to decorate the candle holders with ribbon that matched my beauty room decor.
