Nino Katamadze was born on August 21, 1972 in the town of Kobuleti, Adjara (Georgia). She began singing on stage at the age of four. In 1990 Nino entered the Vocal Department of the Batumi Music Institute and immediately began her amateur singing career. In 1994 she created a charity fund to help disabled and disadvantaged musicians and performers. Ninos professional career started in 2000 when she began working with Gocha Kacheishvili, founder of Insight.
