So to be an independent licensed doctor in Georgia, after Graduation to do 2yrs postgraduate vocational training program (internship) then pass NPDQE exam to get license as by Article 17-Law of Georgia on Medical practice Total duration for Indian students as by NMC guidelines, 6yrs (MD) + 2yrs (Postgraduate vocational training program/internship) +NPDQE exam 8-9 years in total minimum. Could you please outline the admission process for enrolling in the medical courses in Armenia and Georgia. Ans: The admission procedure of Universities are not similar. However, each University mentions their criteria and requirements for admission on their official websites. If it is not mentioned on their website, the respective Universities may be approached individually for guidance regarding admissions over e-mail. 2. What are the qualification requirements for Indian students aspiring to study medicine in Armenia and Georgia. Ans: The qualification requirements for Indian students aspiring to study Medicine in Armenia and Georgia again is not uniform for all the Universities. Although qualifying 10+2 is mandatory for all the Universities, some of the Universities also ask for minimum cut-off percentages in 10+2 examination as well as ask for NEET scores before considering admissions in respective Universities. 3. What types of Scholarships are available to students and what are the basic eligibility criteria for these scholarships. Ans: As per available information, no scholarship scheme is available for foreign students in Armenia and Georgia... 4. Ans: The duration of MBBS course is six years. 4.2 What is the minimum duration of the internship? Ans: The minimum duration of Internship is one year. 4.3 What is the medium of instruction? Ans: The medium of instructions are English/Armenian/Georgian languages. 4.4 What is the process of granting a license to practice medicine in the Armenia and Georgia? Ans: For obtaining license to practice medicine in Armenia and Georgia, Post graduation in specialized field is mandatory. Duration of post graduation varies according to the specialization course which may range from one to four years. 5. What are the career prospects for students upon completion of their medical studies in Armenia and Georgia? Ans: It depends on the merit of the student. 6. Are students who completes their medical studies in Armenia and Georgia eligible to Practice in other countries without having to undergo additional examinations? Ans: It depends on the recognition of the degree issued by the University in that particular country where the candidate is willing to apply or aspire to practice.
