बिना मशीन के चकली बनाने का तरीका | handmade Rice Murukku/Chakli | Kai murukku | Swapna's Cookbook Ingredients: 2 1/2 Cups thick and Old Rice 1 1/4 Cup Sesame seeds(Til) 2 Tbsp Ajwain(carom seeds) Salt to taste Oil for frying Method: Take Rice wash it 2 to 3 times soak it for at least 2 hours Grind it in mixer Consistency of batter should be just like dosa batter Now mix Salt,Ajwain and sesame seeds to batter Mix well Keep aside for 10 to 15 mins Spread thick layer of Cotton cloth pour batter on cloth and spread it,so that the excess water from batter get soak by the cloth Now take small portion of batter in hand with the help of fingers roll and twist the batter to make chakli Make chaklies as you wish(size,shape) Let them dry on cloth at least 1 hour First on high flame heat oil in pan Lift chaklies from cloth carefully with the help of flat spatula Drop chaklies in hot oil,reduce heat(Medium flame) Deep fry chaklies till they become crispy and very light brown color let them cool store in air tight container it is very good option for kids snacks Tip:Do not use new Rice for this recipe.Always use older rice which make chakli more crispy Recipe credit: Bhavana kondawar #chakli #ricemurukku #diwalirecipe
