However they came to be made and called this, they are certainly delicious. Follow me on: Youtube: / @worldtravelercooking Tiktok: / einhverfr instagram: / christravers76 Patreon: / einhverfr Recipe: --------------------- 60g (1/2 cup) flour 150g (1 cup) cornmeal 2T sugar 1 1/2 t baking powder 1/2t salt 1 large egg 180g (3/4 cup) milk 1/2 t red pepper 1/2 t paprika 1/2 t garlic powder 1/2 t onion powder 1/4 t black pepper or white pepper oil for frying Whisk dry ingredients together. Whisk in milk and egg. Whisk until incorporated but do not overmix. Fry until golden brown on all sides. Enjoy! Some people eat these with a cajun remoulade sauce.
