In today's video, I make a DIY shift boot / shifter surround for my coolerworx shifter that secretly charges my airpods as I drive. This might seem like a weird concept for a car channel, but I always lose my airpods between the seats in my car and forget to charge them so I thought this would be a perfect installation for my e36. I also just installed the Coolerworx shifter, and I needed to DIY some sort of shift boot or shifter surround without obscuring the whole shifter mechanism/reverse lockout. I think this did the trick. Plus, it ACTUALLY charges the airpods -- I was not expecting that part to actually work. Hope you enjoyed the video!
