Humans have always lived in conjunction with nature but as the time has passed, this relation has eroded. We have become more distant to nature and have harmed the environment around us. An attempt to re-examine and amend the faults between us earth dwellers and mother earth, to build a future of peaceful coexistence. Padmavathi Rao, a prominent personality in the field of theatre and literature and has performed in movies like Pardes, Padmaavat and Tanhaji. She is passionate about nature conservation and has been engaged in natural farming, arts and crafts, and has developed a non-electrical refrigerator with an intent to help farmers build their own. She heads the Sarsayee Foundation for Theatre and Education, a not-for-profit organisation actively making the lives and careers of underprivileged children. Padmavati Rao is a prominent personality in the field of theatre and literature. Well known for her acclaimed solo theatre performance Kitchen Poems, which was invited to the 8th Theatre Olympics. She has performed in various movies including Pardes, Padmaavat and Tanhaji. She directed a film for children titled ‘I Can Do It’, based on the fear of exams, which was shown to school students across the country. She has also authored a textbook on life skills through theatre and heads the Sarsayee Foundation for Theatre and Education, a not-for-profit organisation actively making the lives and careers of underprivileged children.
