This video will show you how to perform a complete brake service (rotors resurface, brake pads, abutment clips & pad spreader springs replacement) on a 2016 (or 2014 - 2019) Nissan Rogue. The customer had been complaining of steering wheel vibration during high speed braking. The usual cause is brake rotor warpage. The customer had agreed to the rotors being resurfaced and installation of new brake pads. What made this job slightly unique is the replacement of the brake pad spreader springs. The springs must first be mounted into the abutement clips and the pads compressed and held in place in the caliper bracket with c clamps. When the caliper is mounted on the top bolt and rotated down on to the pads, the c clamp can then be removed. The replacement brake pads were Raybestos EHT.
