Don't make this mistake.

Practicing and upgrading DJ equipment may seem like a good thing, but too much of it can be a form of procrastination - delaying and inhibiting you from what you should really be doing with your time and money. You should rather be using what your skillset and what you have to do the best of your ability. It’s better to focus on what’s really needed than what is simply “wanted”. #DJ #DJTutorial #BeginnerDJ _____ THE DJ CONTROLLER I USE! ►https://amzn.to/2EfCiIn DOWNLOAD MY ENTIRE SCRATCH SERIES! ►https://sellfy.com/p/qw9r/ EVERYTHING I own to DJ! ►https://www.amazon.com/shop/djcarloat... That if learned the most complicated DJ trick out there, I could be the most requested and sought out DJ. And that if I spend countless amounts of money on DJ gear and online tutorials, I could even be the world’s number 1 DJ. And so I spent that time, and spent that money. And at the of the day, did I become the worlds number 1 DJ. No. At the end of the day, I was still a shy anti social bedroom DJ with no gigs, and no friends. Looking back now, I realized that I was just procrastinating. Yeah, I pulled the trigger and bought DJ gear, and yeah I knew how to do the autobahn scratch at 18 years old. But I didn’t know how to socialize, make friends, and more importantly get gigs and build my career. And So the mistake I don’t want you guys to make is to think that skills and gear are everything. They are not. But’s it not all bad news. If you want to get gigs. It’s pretty simple go out, socialize, make those connections and build a reputation with promoters, clubs and other DJ’s. Be friends with them and support their night. They’ll be more bound to book you than your skills, because they actually know you, and hopefully like you. If you want to be good in DJ’ing, don’t spend a lot of money on expensive and even excessive DJ courses. Most of the techniques they teach you are kinda irrelavant. Because when you’re Dj’ing in front of a crowd, they don’t really care if you know how to do a loop sync transition, or build up filter chorus switch transition or a swing flare scratch. They don’t even know what the heck 90% of technical DJ’ing is. But what the crowd does know is if you’re beat matching correctly, blending songs smoothly and more importantly, selecting the right songs at the right time. And knowledge and experience on that & building a vibe and a good time, cannot be bought. And the same goes to real DJ skills and buying expensive DJ gear. Just because you own the latest and greatest DJ gear. Does not make you an amazing DJ. Yeah, it looks cool and it’ll get you a lot of likes and views. But it’s just gear. It’s what you do with it, that matters. So to you beginner DJ’s. Props on buying your first DJ gear and deciding to be a DJ. That really is one of the hardest yet easiest steps to make in your journey. So The next thing you should focus now on, is building your fundamentals in mixing, and blending in music. Please please please, focus and master that first before moving on to anything else. And once you do master that, and have a desire to be more than a bedroom DJ. Freaking go out, have fun, party, socialize, and make those connections. Because gigs and success won’t come to you just by being skilled and rich. Because success only happens when you get out from your comfort zone aka as your bedroom. ________________________ See what happens behind the scenes: ►Instagram:   / djcarloatendido   ►Twitter:   / djcarloatendido   ►Facebook:   / djcarloatendido   ►Snapchat: djcarloatendido ________________________ EMAIL: [email protected] ________________________ DISCLAIMER Some of the links are affiliate links, where I earn a small commission if you click on the link and purchase an item.
