Two girls & a 4WD on the world's largest sand Island.... What could go wrong??!! Two of my most favourite things to do are 4wding & camping on the beach and theres no better place to do that than Queensland's own Fraser Island. This trip I'm joined by my friend Jess who has done a bit of camping before but nothing like this! We hired a 4WD from Rainbow Beach Adventure Centre with some camping essentials for a few days and went rouge. We checked out a few of the must see stops; - Maheno ship wreck - Champagne pools - Lake Allom - Eli Creek - Lake Mckenzie - Central Station - Lake Birrabeen Our last night on Fraser Island massive storm warnings came over so we treated ourselves to a Eco glamping tent at the Beach Camp retreat. If you've ever wanted to try 4wding or even just getting over to Fraser island we highly recommend doing so. It was absolutely beautiful and we cant wait to go back and see more of the Island. Did you know there are over 100 fresh water lakes on Fraser Island!!?!
