The Sosua and Cabarete towns are so close, yet they are very different in many ways. And therefore, you can have an absolutely different nightlife experience in these two towns. Let's start with Cabarete. Cabarete is known for its lively nightlife. This beach town attracts people from all over the world, yet mostly Europeans, Canadians, and Americans, however, Dominican visitors from bigger cities - like Santo Domingo and Santiago - also love coming to Cabarete to chill out at weekends. All the fun of the night awaits you at Cabarete Beach, walk around and you’ll find something entertaining, especially on certain days of the week, when a few long-established places have regular music events... The nightlife of Sosua is primarily revolving around the main street called Pedro Clisante. There is no shortage of places to have fun, with many bars, Cafe's, restaurants, and nightclubs. New places often open up on the night scene, however many well-known places are still in operation and going strong. Some popular restaurants at nighttime include Baileys, Rancho Tipico, VIP Steak House, K LO K, Mango Tropical restaurant, El Conde, Schnitzel Paradise, Kings Restaurant. And for live music restaurants where lots of expats gather, then Parada Tipica El Choco is super popular, especially with their Tuesday "Aperetivo" where bands get folk rocking and dancing. It's located in the outskirts of Sosua, on the main highway opposite Sosua Ocean Village. If you are mainly after drinks and good music you can head to bars or nightclubs like Bar Centralen, Shlemmerstube, Kings, or others like it in the center... If you’re looking for something a little more intimate, head to spots with VIP areas like K Lo K Smoke Bar, or the strip club at Ahnvee Resort, ... If you're up for gambling, you can visit two local casinos like the Playa Chiquita Casino or the Coral Reef Casino...
