Can you extend the fun and get a little extra value from Easter Egg Dye? Yes! You can use your as your leftover dye to decorate your junk journal with pretty hand dyed papers and scraps of fabric and lace. Over-dyeing fabrics and ribbon creates unexpected colors and all your bits and scraps will look even more beautiful. I'm sharing a demonstration of using the dye along with four ideas of what I've made for my current "Pansies" journal. Happiest Easter everyone! Note: Remember that vinegar, which helps to dissolve and set these dye tablets, is an acid. With so many aged and junky things in junk journals, I think it is an issue already decided. But please remember that this is still an issue if you are making a "heritage" journal. (One that you hope will last beyond your lifetime) Acidity could be a concern in such a journal.
