ABOUT FLORIAN ALEXANDRU-ZORN: Born and raised in Germany, Florian Alexandru-Zorn began to play drumset at the age of nine. At the age of 18, he began touring as the drummer for well-known jazz and classical guitarist Romuald Erenc. It was during this time that he honed his brush playing skills, and his published book “The Art of Brush Playing” garnered attention. Alexandru-Zorn’s style covers a wide range from jazz to Hip Hop; and he has performed at such prestigious festivals and conferences such as PASIC 2011, Dresdner Drumfestival, Trommeltag Salzgitter, and Montreal Drum Fest.
