This is rental car number 143 and today I'm driving the 2020 Buick Enclave Essence. This is a mid-size crossover SUV that I rented from Enterprise. Type: mid-size crossover suv Year: 2020 Make: Buick Model: Enclave Trim: Essence Exterior Paint: Ebony Twilight Metallic Interior: Black Leather Seats Wheels: 18" painted aluminum wheels MSRP: $43,130 Extras: Power moonroof with rear fixed skylight (an extra $1,400) and front license plate bracket which Buick charges an extra $40 for(what!?!). Drivetrain: all wheel drive Engine: 3.6-liter V6 engine DOHC Transmission: 9-speed automatic transmission Horsepower: 310 hp at 6,800 rpms 0 to 60: Not great. Fuel Type: regular unleaded MPG City: 18 mpg MPG Highway: 25 mpg Combined MPG: 20 mpg Fuel Cap Location: driver's side Fuel Tank Capacity: 22 gallons How does it drive? Handling at low speeds: Not great. I was very unhappy with the turning radius on the Enclave. Handling at high speeds: Good. The vehicle handled well at higher speeds, although I didn't feel completely comfortable and found myself slowing down before entering turns. Acceleration from a stop: Decent. The V6 performs well but I didn't feel like the Enclave was fast. It took longer than expected to get up to high speeds.
