In fact, archaeologists say this event could not have been seen before Professor O'Kelly's restoration of the Newgrange roofbox in the 1960s. Russell claimed to have been a psychic. In this video, 'Newgrange: Monument to Immortality' author Anthony Murphy reads these famous words from the pen of Russell. In his new book, Murphy asks whether Russell could really have been psychic, or whether this alignment had been known about, or even witnessed, prior to the excavations.
