My FASTPACKING lightweight backpacking gear LOAD OUT! Includes food!

Here is my fastpacking lightweight backpacking gear load out. This backpacking kit is perfect for 3 season or 4 season wild camping down to approximately zero degrees. Sometimes you need to travel light and fast so you need to take some ultralight backpacking gear with you. I've got all my camping gear in a 44L backpacking bag. My backpacking gear loadout includes all my food and snacks. No cheating! The only thing missing is water but my hydration reservoir is included in the overall weight. To achieve a light weight thru hiking gear set up you really need to think 'light' from the start. This means being weight conscious right from the very start. It's not just the weight of your wild camping gear, you need to think about size too. Fortunately most light outdoor gear is smaller too so this will happen naturally. I used this set up for my OMM (Original Mountain Marathon) 2 day backpacking event. I had to hike fast throughout with period of light running too. This backpacking gear list isn't necessarily perfect, but it gives you a starting point if you want to consider lighting your load.
