The Hobbit (2003) - Retro Replay

It's time to review one of the first games I ever played! Welcome back to Retro Replay where we will be looking at an action-adventure platformer from 2003 called "The Hobbit". It came out when the Lord of the Rings movies were at the peak of popularity, and tells the prelude story to that adventure. It sadly doesn't contain any sexy dwarves though, as this was a decade before Peter Jackson decided to make a Hobbit movie trilogy. I want to revisit some of the best games I played as a kid and share the experience and discuss the memories with the world, but in a much more refined and polished format than a normal playthrough would allow. The idea of taking an older game and making it actually interesting to watch for a person who doesn't share your nostalgia is an alluring prospect to me, so I have decided to try it out myself! I always strive to make videos that I would want to watch myself, and considering I can binge on those shows for hours, it seems like a reasonable thing to try out. There is definitely a lot of polishing that still needs to be done on the format, but I'm hoping it will improve over time.
