James Bond Island, Koh Panyee and Kayaking around Ko Hong Island, Phuket / Thailand / 4K

James Bond Island, also known locally as Khao Ping Kan, is located about 25 kilometers northeast of Phuket Island, in the bay of Phang Nga. The island is part of the Ao Phang Nga National Park and is famous for its striking landscape, including the limestone pinnacle known as Khao Ta-Pu or the “James Bond Rock”. In the 1974 James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun, Roger Moore, landed on this impressive island. The island’s dramatic cliffs, caves, and emerald-green waters have been shaped over millions of years by wind, weather, tides, and geological processes, resulting in a truly awe-inspiring natural wonder. Koh Panyee, also known as Ko Panyi, is a captivating fishing village in Phang Nga Province, Thailand. What makes it truly remarkable is that it’s built almost entirely on stilts, rising above the water. Ko Hong boasts stunning white sand beaches and iconic towering limestone cliffs, making it a true hidden gem. The island’s most spectacular feature is its lagoon, accessible only through a narrow fissure by longtail boat or kayaks. This secluded bay within Ko Hong is known as Hong Lagoon. 00:00 Speedboat ride 00:47 James Bond Island 05:35 Speedboat ride 07:17 Koh Panyee 09:41 Speedboat ride 11:47 Kayaking around Ko Hong Island 23:16 The Big Tree 25:09 Speedboat ride
