Documentary wedding photography at Hobbiton by Lucalia Photography. October 2024 Kayleigh and Liam were married at the Hobbiton Movie Set, Matamata Aotearoa New Zealand. "We knew from our first visit here that it would be our wedding location, even a good 5 years before we got engaged. It's our place & we are so happy to be able to share it with our closest family & friends in such a special way. No amount of time there will diminish the beauty & tranquillity of the scenery. We are of course also both big Lord of the Rings fans." Ever since being introduced to LOTR by my husband in 2015, I have been in love with the world Tolkien created. It has been a dream to document a wedding at Hobbiton, the set used in the making of the Peter Jackson movies. Kayleigh said of choosing me as their wedding photographer: "I could never forget your amazing reaction when I told you I would be getting married at Hobbiton. It is incredibly important to me that artists of any kind are equally excited about the work they are getting to do, paid or not. On top of that, your more candid approach to photography was a must for us, as neither of us are good with getting our photos taken & would much prefer the casual & spontaneous experience."
