My top 10 best beaches on Walk The Yorke, South Australia's Yorke Peninsula

Walk The Yorke is a 500km walk on the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia following the coastline including coastal roads, cliffs and along beaches. This is my top 10 best beaches along with 2 others that just missed out. 10. Rifle Butts Beach- nice sand, rocks surrounding it, only access by walking from the carpark near Port Rickaby. 9. Formby Bay- Though the sand was soft, the weather unkind, its remoteness along with sand dunes all the way made it special. 8. William Beach near Marion Bay had yellow clean sand, no sea weed and great views. 7. Bluff Beach to Barker rocks has sand dunes and flat white sand to walk on and turquoise water 6. Butlers Beach at Hillocks Drive property had golden sand with spectacular rocks to view below towering sand hills and cliff with views of Kangaroo Island. 5. Nalyappa to Cape Elizabeth had white golden sand and stunning coloured rocks at each end and crystal clear water. 4. Wauraltee Beach, though you can drive along it the sand dunes along side, stunning white sand and crystal clear water was a treat. 3. Pondalowie Bay had a long stretch of golden sand in a sheltered bay with islands and stingray and surfing on a hot sunny day. 2. Cap Clairot was a sheltered cove with great white sand, clear water and views of the lighthouse. 1. The Horseshoe beach located south of Berry Beach near Corny Point. Such a secluded spot with granite rocks, no one can drive along it, and soft rolling waves. Missed out- Flaherty's beach in Hardwick Bay- a bit too much sea weed for me and it was an overcast day -and Goblet Bay where I swam at near Pondalowie Bay with no one there and gorgeous weather.
