FM22 has been out for a little while now and the database has been balanced and updated. The wonderkids on this new Football Manager have emerged from the mist. Or rather, they’ve stayed hidden deep in the database but there are no issues or mistaken ratings in there anymore. I have to say, out of all the wonderkid lists I’ve made off Football Manager in the past few years, these were the hardest people to find. There are just not a lot of top-tier wonderkids on FM that aren’t playing in Europe or South America. Obviously, a few of these guys or a few other wonderkids we don’t know yet will burst onto the scene in the next few years, but it seems to be tougher to find those really special players outside the really top continents. I mean for Football Manager it is just more of a risk to assign really high potential to players not playing on the two best continents. I hope this changes in the future but I understand it. It makes this list all the more interesting. Will a few of these wonderkids turn into the next Son? The next McKennie? Bailey? Mendy? Mane? I hope so because we’ve found them early.
