Hariyali chicken Recipe in English: Ingredients: • Hara Dhania (coriander leaves) ½ bunch • Podina (mint leaves) ½ bunch • Hari mirch (green chilies) 3-4 or to taste • Dahi (yogurt) ½ cup • Oil 2 tbs • Sabut garam masala (whole spice) 1 tsp • Pyaz (onion) chopped 1 • Adrak lehsun (ginger garlic) paste 1 tsp • Chicken ½ kg • Namak (salt) 1 tsp or to taste • Greens & yogurt mixture • Water 1-2 tbs • Zeera (cumin) powder ½ tsp • Garam masala (whole spice) powder ½ tsp • Kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves) 1 tsp Directions: In a blender, add coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chilies and yogurt and blend until combine. Set aside In a pan, heat oil, add whole spices and fry. Add onions and fry until translucent. Add ginger garlic paste and fry until onions are brown. Add chicken and fry until chicken changes color. Add Salt and and green yogurt mixture and mix well. Add 2 tbs water and cover to cook for 10-15 minutes until chicken is tender. Add cumin powder and whole spice powder and dried fenugreek leaves. Mix well for a minute and turn off the flame. Hariyali chicken is ready to serve. Recipe in Urdu: Ajza: • Hara Dhania (coriander leaves) ½ bunch • Podina (mint leaves) ½ bunch • Hari mirch (green chilies) 3-4 or to taste • Dahi (yogurt) ½ cup • Oil 2 tbs • Sabut garam masala (whole spice) 1 tsp • Pyaz (onion) chopped 1 • Adrak lehsun (ginger garlic) paste 1 tsp • Chicken ½ kg • Namak (salt) 1 tsp or to taste • Greens & yogurt mixture • Water 1-2 tbs • Zeera (cumin) powder ½ tsp • Garam masala (whole spice) powder ½ tsp • Kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves) 1 tsp Directions: Blender main hara dhania, podina, hari mirch aur dahi shamil karke blend karke side pe rakh lain. Ek degchi main, oil garam Karen aur sabut garam masala shamil Karen, karkarane par yaz shamil kar dein. Pyaz safed hone par adrak lehsun ka paste shamil karain aur pyaz ke brown hone tak fry karain. Ab chicken shamil karke achi tarah bhoon lain. Namak aur dahi ka mixture shamil karain aura chi tarah mix karlain. Ab thora sa pani shamil karke chicken dhak den aur 10-15 minute tak pakayen jab tak chickebn gal jaye. Zeera powder, garam masala powder aur kasuri methi shamil karke mix Karen. Oil alaihda hone per cholha band kar dain. Hariyali chicken tayar hai.
