Diana Ross surprised the audience at Cardiff Castle on June 10, 2022 when she performed one of her newer songs from her album, "Thank You." The song, "If The World Just Dance" was birth from the covid pandemic when she was left to produce her new album in her garage that was transformed into a music recording studio. She felt what the world needed to do is lift itself up and dance. She wanted the album to be filled with positivity and love. She certainly achieved that with this dance hit that got the world dancing as it slowly came out of the darkness. The message was clear and the crowd at Cardiff Castle got the message as the ancient grounds where royalty and peasants alike worked and play was turned into a disco. This was one of my favorite moments from my travels across the UK; to see Diana Ross and her band joyously perform this song. Epic.
