My late grandma's Dal Gosht recipe which she very lovingly used to make for us and serve with freshly made rotis. The kitchen smelt wonderful as she used to prepare this dish and we would look forward to devouring this. Ingredients: 750g leg of lamb n the bone cut into medium pieces 200g chana dal (yellow split gram) 250g onions finely sliced 300g tomatoes quartered 1/2 cup oil Spices as follows: 1 teaspoon salt & regular chilli powder 1 tablespoon of coriander powder & deghi mirch (Kashmiri chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 2 Bay leaves, 2 black cardamom pods and 1 cinnamon stick 3 bullet chillies (optional) 1 frozen piece of ginger and garlic or 1 tablespoon of the paste each Fresh coriander to garnish Water to use as when needed =================================== Enjoy 😊 & Happy Eating!
