Watch Day 1 here:    • Getting a Taste of Competitive Golf -...   Showed up on day 2 hoping to go low and possibly shoot even par to make the cut. The weekend prior at Mount Maunganui Open I played bad on day one and then did really well on day 2 so I was expecting to feel more relaxed for this round at Tauranga Golf Club too. However, as you'll see from the beginning here I was pretty uptight. Twas another shaky start with a Happy Gilmore break from my shanked bunker shot on hole one hahaha. The front nine was going worse in my head than in reality. I mentally felt like I hit a triple on the first when it was only a bogey. Then as you'll see I couldn't putt anything over 2 feet for the entire round. Finishing the round with 41 putts (including 2 putts i hit from the fringe). and making 0 up and downs, not like me at all. All up I had a lot of fun, and I stayed optimistic throughout, despite the disappointing breaks. Felt good to have 2 eagle putts on the par 5's and felt i drove good all day (only 2 bad drives really). Lots to learn from, and I'm grateful these rounds were filmed as it's really helpful reflecting on it this way to see where I can improve.
