Elektron asked me to create presets for the factory library of the new Digitone 2 as well as a pattern to showcase some of the sounds. Once I came up with a pattern I liked, I thought it was only right to perform it into a track and record it to 1/4" tape. Which is what you see/hear in this video. If you get a Digitone 2, you can look for a pattern named 'Fuchsia' and make a remix of this piece, if you like. Fun fact: The tape craps out around 1:58 but I felt that hiccup was quirky enough to leave in. Made with beta firmware. No other instruments or effects were used.
