The matkifod competition was one of the highlights of the day, and it was electrifying to see the students from Azad Hall compete against each other. Speaking of Azad Hall, the Holi celebrations there were nothing short of amazing. The bonding between the boarders was evident as they played with colors and danced to the beat of the dhol. The refreshments such as lassi, watermelon, and drinks served in the Azad Hall of Residence were simply amazing, and they added to the overall festive vibe. As someone who had never experienced Holi before, I was blown away by the culture of IIT Kharagpur and the way in which the festival was celebrated. The Holi of Azad Hall, in particular, was a sight to behold, and it was clear that the students take great pride in their traditions and culture. In conclusion, my first Holi at IIT Kharagpur was an unforgettable experience that I will cherish forever. I feel privileged to have been a part of this vibrant and diverse community, and I cannot wait to see what other celebrations and traditions IIT Kharagpur has in store.
