In this episode I’m very pleased to be joined by Richard Jupp. Rick was a founding member of the band Elbow in which he played drums on six albums and with the rest of the Elboys toured the UK, Europe and all over the World – the band received awards from The Brits, The Ivor Novellos, The NMES, The Southbank Awards and the coveted Mercury Music Prize - But In 2017 Rick announced his departure from Elbow to allow him to concentrate on teaching Drums at the BIMM Institute Manchester. He also has a special interest in drumming as therapy for mental health which relates to his role as patron of The National Autistic Society.
