There is no leeway in this stove , the baffle is tight to fit ! Frost tip is make sure you clean out all the inside of the soot of soot etc because if there is any left and it cost you a few mm then the plate will not fit back In. I start by re fitting the top baffle I then re fit the rear brick And then I re fit all four side bricks - two each side. Up til this point the top baffle still has movement so you can lift it slightly and shufffle it slightly from side to side. Last bit is the hard bit and that’s re fitting the wings as I call them. Once in the top baffle has little movement so this is best left till last. Slide them in flats - turn them and once in place flip them up so they fall In to the channel made for them. You need to do five of these before it starts to feel straight forward. As always , don’t try this at home !
