Welcome to our plant-based educational show - Feel Better Eating! In this LIVE audience show we make healthy plant-based alternatives and share the health benefits of eating this way. Oh sourdough...🍞 If you're like us - you've seen videos on the internet of beautiful sourdough loaves that people make with ease - then tried to do it yourself and were baffled on how difficult the process is 😅🍞 We've been back and forth with the process of sourdough for years - giving it a try and then being so frustrated that we give up and buy from a local vendor instead (which is great, support all those mothers who are great at sourdough, you can find them on Facebook marketplace in your area, guaranteed.) This most recent attempt at "being good" at sourdough has been the most successful yet because we went out of our way to get an in-person lesson (if you struggle we recommend asking one of those sourdough mothers you find on marketplace to give you a lesson like we did.) This gracious woman who taught us the most recent iteration of our sourdough made it thankfully soooo simple for us and so we wanted to share the simplicity. This recipe and flow reflects the simplicity of the process she taught us. We still need lots of practice, but we felt we made it "far enough" to do a show on the process. We hope you'll feel a sense of relief looking at our imperfect, yet delicious, buns in this most recent cooking show. Sourdough doesn't always have to be beautiful - if you simply make your way to baked bread, incredible, imperfect loaves still taste good and feed your family. Anyone who devotes time to this process of sourdough will be humbled and made a better person in the process, or at least that is our believe.
