How medal event is judged: 1 heat of 10 athletes competing in a 30 minute jam session with :30 second maximum runs. Athletes will take as many runs as possible within the 36 minutes. Best run counts, scored 1-100. Judges will score competitors throughout the contest. Skateboard vert is a style of skateboarding that involves performing tricks on a large U-shaped ramp called a half-pipe.
