Never meant to share it, but why not? A sick sense of humour: last 2 published songs were for kids ("Ronan" and "Humpty Dumpty"), and I have "Twinkle" (not for kids) already published. So I took a look at the list of unpublished stuff, and thought this one will be next. This one was an adrenaline rush with quite a story behind. For another time, perhaps. It's not for children, it's... about children. In the warzone. Lyrics: Sky bleeds red, night descends, Shadows stretch, day ends. Eyes wide, whispers close, Ears catch, the silent prose. Heart beats, then betrays, Grief's grasp, tightly stays. Mouths shout, no one hears, Noses scent, the trail of tears. Feet wander, lost paths tread, Tummies empty, dreams unfed. Arms reach, for ghostly chins, Hopes dashed, where night begins. Hands clasp, in vain hope, Fingers grasp the end of rope. Legs buckle, under fears, Lips tremble, with unshed tears. Under crimson sky's embrace, We fade, leave no trace.
