Kevin Wade - Summer Drum Solo. After my V Show solo, I was left with a few grooves/fills that I wasn't able to include. Over the last couple of weeks, I've thrown together those leftovers, as well as creating a few new beats, in order to build this drum solo. This solo has a similar tone to the V Show solo but are still very different. I knew the general grooves going into the recording but I still improv'd a lot of parts. I was pretty happy with the recording, as the mistakes are fairly insignificant and the drums sound pretty good. The camera angle isn't the best but it's good enough. I really need to try something new haha. I'm also learning the guitar right now and am considering posting some guitar covers. I don't know, I'm getting kind of bored of posting the same types of videos (drum covers) again and again. I feel like you all deserve a little more variety and creativity. Audio recorded using my Presonus Studiolive 16.0.2 mixer and edited on Garageband. Video captured using one poorly placed camera angle. Thanks for watching!
